About Love is a Verb
Hi, I'm Elodie.
I created Love is a Verb Events with the simple idea to serve everyone with care and celebrate them on their own terms, NOT the industry's.
I built this for the queer, 2SLGBTQ+ & polyamorous people who have spent too long trying to fit their love story into a mold that was never made for them. I create events that think outside the box, that do not abide by any pre-made rules, weddings that exist ONLY for you and your loved ones, moments that become core memories that will change your DNA and your brain chemistry.
I am value-forward in everything I do. I am intentional about who I work with and who I work for, building a network of queer-owned and value-forward businesses and partners who show up with the same values I do.

Absolutely. The Final Weeks offer is designed exactly for this, I step in during the final weeks of preparation, create complicated and detailed (and fun) spreadsheets, align all the moving parts, communicate with all the vendors and manage everything on the day so you can focus on yourself and your guests.

Not at all. While weddings is my main focus I also work on any celebration rooted in love and community, engagement parties, fundraisers, brand launch, birthday parties. We just don’t do gender reveal parties.
